Read how Antonio uses PocketSmith to spot extra savings and keep his young family’s month-to-month cash flow feeling calm and under control.
I moved to Brisbane from Italy after uni as a vacation, loved the place and decided to make roots. Fast forward 12 years, and I have a wife and two young kids, and I’m happier than ever.
Working in accounting gives me a natural inclination to look after family finances, while my wife is a chef, so she ‘gladly’ is involved in all the kitchen-related stuff, but at times I have to remind her if we really need that extra mixer.
I use many financial tools daily and wanted to have something easy to use to keep track of family expenditures. PocketSmith ticked many boxes I was looking for — affordable, direct sync with bank accounts, a great variety of reports and excellent customer service.
I’m a returning customer, so just short of two years in total.
To identify areas where we could save that little extra — it all helps at the end of the month. I mainly use the Income reports in this regard. PocketSmith also helps in keeping things clear and neat.
I would say I’m a bit more relaxed in a way, knowing that I can always log in and check how the month is going is reassuring. I feel that PocketSmith gives me that peace of mind right now.
I like the debt dashboard widget, the loan forecast in a snapshot and also the Digest. It’s useful scrolling down the report and seeing monthly highlights — the good and the bad ones!
