Editing an event – ‘Apply settings to’ options

When you edit an event’s details or its date through drag and drop, you are presented with three options for the editing that will occur. The below describes each of these in detail.

1. All occurrences – this will edit all of the events in the series. All events will have the options applied to it, as long as they are not exceptions to the main events.

2. Just this occurrence – this will edit just this one occurrence of the event. This will create an ‘Event exception’ for this date, meaning the original event will not repeat on this date – and a new event (with no repetition) will be created.

3. This point forward – this will edit this event from here forward. This will stop the original event from repeating from this date, and will create a new event with the specified options in the form (when editing an event) or the same options as the original event (when changing an event’s date)
